THE POTATO HELPS WITH YOUR INTENTIONS OF STAYING HEALTHY
A new year has started and that also means that many people have good intentions. With, among other things, in the top 10 of good intentions for 2019, eating healthier food and losing weight, exercising more, spending less money, less stress and more time for ourselves.
As we wrote a few weeks ago, potatoes are healthier than many people think. They contain vitamin B, C, potassium, phosphorus and dietary fiber. In addition, potatoes are low in calories compared to for example cereals. Therefore, as a tip, an easy, fast and healthy potato dish with which multiple intentions can be realized.
Do not throw away potato leftovers from evening dish. But make a potato salad for lunch the next day. Mix the potatoes with raw vegetables such as tomato, cucumber and radish (= seasonal product for January), herbs, a piece of chicken, fish or boiled egg and a yoghurt dressing or a dressing of lemon juice, oil, mustard and some pepper. This way you have a healthy meal in no time, you do not have to throw away food and you have more time left for yourself!
